INTRODUCTION
Manpower Department Training Institute (ILJTM) were set up to prepare and implement a program of pre-employment skills training to meet the needs of the industrial sector of the country. ILJTM consists of thirty-two (32) Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), four (4) Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) and a Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTI). ILP offers courses at Certificate and Advanced Certificate and Diploma, while ADTEC and JMTI offers programs at Diploma and Advanced Diploma. The main objective is to produce ILJTM optimum manpower through industrial skills training program.
STUDENT INTAKE
Student intake ILJTMs enroll two (2) times a year, in January and July each year. Ads will be released in March and September. Methods of application is the online application on the JTM website (www.jtm.gov.my) and UPU website for January intake, Department of Higher Education (http://upu.moe.gov.my) for January or July intake. Applications through UPU website, applicants are required to purchase a unique ID number in the National Savings Bank (BSN) at a price of RM15.60 through BSN counters, ATM or SMS Banking.

FACILITIES
JTM provides services in all of its institutes; including accommodation, meals, lecture halls, laboratories, training workshops, sports and recreation facilities, cafeteria, computer lab, library, and others.
FEES
Tuition:
- Diploma and Advanced Diploma: RM3,000.00 per year. (Loan Skills Development Fund (PTPK) can be applied to eligible)
- Certificate and Advanced Certificate: Free, except for sponsored students.
Other fees charged on the day of registration (approximately RM650-RM700 depending on the institute).
